Woman Found Dead In Her Home After Being Eaten By Pet Pugs
Adriana Neagoe, who went by Anda Sasha, was reportedly not heard from for five days before police made the gruesome discovery at her home near Bucharest, Romania.
Concerns for the 34-year-old were raised when she hadn’t answered her phone or door for the week.
Firefighters accompanied officers and one of her relatives to the flat in Târgu Jiu.
Those who knew the 34-year-old added tributes under the post, with one person sharing: “Condolences, I can’t believe it. I am so sorry.”
Somebody else said: “My deepest condolences to you! I am in shock! What happened to her?”
“I am devastated! May God protect her and give you the strength to overcome,” a third user penned. “Please let me know if I can help with anything. Condolences.”
When emergency services arrived at Neagoe’s apartment, they reportedly discovered her lifeless on the floor with her two pugs sitting next to her body.
Paramedics at the scene reported that there weren’t any signs of violence and her body was transported to Gorj Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy to determine her cause of death.
Police have opened an investigation and are exploring all possibilities to learn what happened to Neagoe.
The Daily Mail reports that the position she was found in showed signs of cadaveric livity, also known as livor mortis.
Livor mortis refers to blood pooling in the lower portion or dependent parts of the body after death. It results in a dark and purple skin discoloration, per Osmosis.
Following the discovery of Neagoe’s body, police issued a shelter order for the two dogs.
Neagoe’s official cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
